About Jordan

Jordan Herskowitz, lovingly nicknamed Jordy Pordy by his grandma, is a critically acclaimed writer, storyteller, and director. A born and bred Texan, Jordan dreamed of going to school up North -- he got as far as Oklahoma. It was at The University of Tulsa that Jordan received a Tulsa Undergraduate Research Grant for solo theatrical performances. The one man show he wrote from this grant, Growing Up Jordy Pordy, went on to be performed over 350 times in 40 cities across three continents. Jordan runs creative drama and writing workshops for all ages across the country. Currently, Jordan is the Arts Department Chair at Golda Och Academy in West Orange, NJ.
